PROJECT: CATCHING GIANTS
MY ROLE: PRODUCER, CO-WRITER, CO-DIRECTOR

The cold and muddy Breede River in South Africa was hiding a monster. One that was taking huge fish off fishermen's lines in one mouthful. Too cold, too muddy and too far south for the usual suspects, just what was lurking in the water? Could it be related to the monster that took six people in what came to be known as Black December in 1957 in Durban? At the time, a Great White had been blamed, but there was never any real proof. Had the monster returned? The investigation turned up some truly astonishing answers.
